Implementing UCCE/CVP (CVPI) (5 Days)

CVPI is a hands-on, instructor-led course that presents the t three deployment models - Queue and Transfer, Stand-alone and Full Feature.

The course focuses on sizing, design considerations, installation, configuration and scripting for the Full Feature deployment model, which includes the Queue and Transfer, and Stand- alone models.

Lab exercises address the configuration of all CVP product components as well as external components including gateways, gatekeepers, CallManager, ICM and CVP Studio so as to properly interface with CVP. The course addresses CVP serviceability issues such as troubleshooting, redundancy, failover and remote monitoring. The purpose of the course is to enable a learner to achieve working-level competency for working with CVP 8.5

Prerequisites:

Course Objectives:

  • Explain the components, functions and call flow of a CVP solution when deployed in either a standalone or comprehensive model
  • Configure a functional Unified CVP comprehensive deployment model with Unified ICM Enterprise
  • Demonstrate use of 6 UCCE MicroApps available to support caller interaction with Unified CVP
  • Describe Voice Extensible Markup Language (VXML) as a technology and describe the benefits that it provides to Cisco Unified CVP; install and configure the Cisco Unified CVP VXML solution for Cisco Unified CVP
  • Execute the steps that are required to configure a the UCCE/CVP environment to provide historical data and to configure and use the diagnostic features and tools to ensure end-to-end serviceability
  • Design a Cisco Unified CVP solution that is designed for failover protection and high availability and use the recommended troubleshooting techniques to isolate and correct system failures
