Speech Recognition Programming with PeriProducer 2.3 for the Nortel VPS/is Platform
This 3-day course is intended for the PeriProducer Application Developer who has already taken the first PeriProducer Programming course and is now working with Speech Recognition.
Students will write PeriProducer applications that use Speech Recognition that employ the following techniques:
- Switching grammars
- N-best processing
- Processing speech and/or touchtone entry
- Barge-in
- No Data and No Match error handling
In addition, this course will include the following topics:
- Considerations and guideline for writing good speech recognition applications
- Writing grammars using either Nuance Grammar Specification Language (GSL) or XML-Form Grammars for ScanSoft OSR
- Writing Natural Language grammars
- Understanding ‘Hot Word’ or Command grammars
- Compiling and testing grammars
- Introduction to the Nortel Networks OSCAR platform
- Configuration files on the OSCAR to provide speech recognition
- Using speech recognition with PeriProducer 2.3
- Tuning and call logging introduction
- Distributing grammars with ZAGNet
Duration: 3 days (the final day will not end early, please plan accordingly)
Prerequisites: PeriProducer programming experience
